A handful of brave members enjoyed a damp summer picnic at Heaton Park, as part of our summer series of “trying things out”. It was a pleasant afternoon, and the 12-3pm slot with an outing on the tramway went down well! Reflecting on the day, we decided that it is good to have it in the calendar in advance, and that a wet weather plan may be in order next time! We aim to repeat the event next year.
